Mini Boss Mechanics

All mini bosses in the Rotten Blood system have their full mechanics enabled. Every defeated mini boss increases your “Bag You Covet” chance by +0.01% on top of its base drop chance. Additionally, each kill increases the Rotten Taints – making areas harder due to curses, but more rewarding thanks to increased loot potential.

Bakragore Mechanics

Bakragore also features complete boss mechanics. The drop chance for a Bag You Covet is doubled compared to mini bosses. Defeating Bakragore also resets all accumulated Rotten Taints, giving you a fresh start. Alternatively, you can reset taints by interacting with the NPC Bloodshade Rotten.

Essences and Grand Bags

A Grand Bag You Covet can drop when players use essences from mini bosses on the altars in Bakragore’s lever room. Each used essence boosts the strength of Bakragore. Depending on the essence used, Bakragore replaces its Bloodjaw ability with an Echo of the respective boss. Note: Every bag drop resets the drop chance increase counter.

Craft Bag You Covet

Players can also craft a Bag You Covet by trading with the NPC Altar. The cost is:
50KK + 5 Tainted Hearts + 5 Darklight Hearts. These hearts can only drop when the player is under the effect of Rotten Taints.

Rotten Taint Effects

• Some Rotten Blood monsters may swap positions with players 2 seconds after a special animation triggers.
• 7% chance to spawn a Bloodjaw after killing certain monsters.
• +15% increased damage from all Rotten Blood area monsters.
• Some monsters may cast root spells on players, limiting movement.
